How can I raise my PH and keep it up?

Crush coral is the way to go to keep your ph up. Lfs sells them for $1/lbs just buy 5lbs and go from there.

Nylon for woman, you get looks when your a guy and hit the checkout with a pair of them.... Or you can always put it under your substrate. I just mix it around. And even though I'm a newb here sea shells work pretty good and look nice as well. Iv kept africans for years now.

how much of the crushed coral or substrate would i need? i dont want to change the substrate so i will probably have it in my filter. BTW my tap water ph is 7.6

What do you have in the tank that is lowering your ph values? Driftwood, too much carbon dioxide? There has to be something if your tap is 7.6

I keep a lot of driftwood in my tank as well, and I never have my ph crash. Iv got three big pieces.
