How can I tell the difference between button Polyps and Glass Anemones

I poked at a couple and they just drawed up!!!
But I'm gone get the shrimp and see what happens!!!
I just hate spending money( yo sig says it all) if I don't have to!!!!
But I gotta do something cause I'm ready to get this thing to a state were I can sit back and enjoy it!!!!
I'm still getting my hands wet messing with this skimmer, I'm bout ready to go buy another one cause this one ain't picking up nothing!!!

Bout to start calling around to see who has the best prices on peppermint shrimp!!!!!
 
peppermint shrimp are only like $5-7 each... Plus they are good scavengers and pick up left over food and such

I did a search on those and I think your right!!!!
I have 2 different types in the tank and some pics I found of the majano do look like what I got!!!!!!

Copperbanded butterfly...he will take care of these most likely...if you can get one cheap and cant find true peppermint shrimp.
 
when i first set up my salt, i had a problem with Glass Anemone. Every time i though i got rid of them they come back. i learned the hard way for every one broken off , 2 replaced it..lol. Pepermnt shrimp do not always work. had 3 of them and they never touched it. Copperbanded butterfly will eat them but u need a good size tank for them not to mention they are very hard to keep. In the end i ended up pulling out the rock and scrubbing it with a wire brush and a toothbrush. Make sure i rinsed it well (used old tank water) before addind it back to the tank. I have not had a problem since (knock on wood) They can be a p.i.t.a. to get rid of. Good luck to you.
