He's eating, he's hangin' under a piece of driftwood safe and sound, lives in a decent volume of water - don't know about filtration? - sounds comfortable to me. Now you just have to wait and when your Elongatus is large enuff that his instinct to hide for fear of being eatin' ends, he will more than likely swim swim swim. Unfortunately it's gonna be on his timetable not ours.
