thye hacent come out yet?!?!?

Still no babies! :( I seperated the 3 females from the male and put the 3 of them into my 10g "breeding" tank, but I'm not sure if I should have done that... I just don't want the Barracuda I'm getting tomorrow to gobble them up. I also don't want the male to eat my fry :irked:

Do you think the little batch of java moss in my 75g will be enough for the fry? That or I could use the breeding trap, but when would you say would be best to put them in there? I don't want any premature fry :/ Thanks!
I used to use traps at the risk of putting fems in too early, waking up and finding them dead, pale, or completely stressed out, so i go with foxtail and elodia. idk if you can get that where you are though...............

FINALLY! Went down to turn the night light on and saw 3 fry swimming around. I captured them and put them into the breeding trap until I get a foam filter to cover my AC 110's intake. Would covering the intake with a sponge filter minimize the flow by much?

ya. but it will still flow. your dealing with guppies so flow doesn't really matter, movement in the water is aeration enough and even then, their guppies so they could live with none if you wanted to.

filter in a guppy tank is only good for mech/bio more than flow/air.
