How come frontosa are so expensive?

Sorry for the noob question, but what does the F1 or F2 stand for?

F1 means the parents were wild caught and F2 are the offspring from F1 parents.

f2 means grandparents were wild
most people don't keep track of f3 and beyond

i have about 24 moba fries in my tank. The first 9 moba are now 3 inches within 3 month, and the others 16 are now 1 inch in less then a month. They grow pretty fast.

Oh yeah, i went over board in buying them, now i have now tank space. Pending my wife approval for me to get a new large tank.

All together, i have 25 moba, 17 mpimbwe, 6 burundi, and 1 kigoma(7 strip) I am over my head with font, kinda worry where i should put them. Currently i only have a 100g

I spend a fortune on them, but i am the only person around my state that has them. Isnt it great to be "THE ONE" hehehe I probably have to sell some after the holiday if it come to it So far, i am enjoying them.

are they like clown loaches and grow extreamly sloww

1 Simple reason:

They are in high demand, because the majority of people like them.

I have never liked fronts myself.
