How come no one could identify my fish gender?

Does it really matter if it's male or female? Wolf fish are near impossible to tell, especially when alone.

Right now water is 81 F. Water level reduced by half, filtration is still running, i added more carbons. Now i think it stopped jumping, and trying to catch fish at night.

i hate beef heart, today i bought feeders and live market shrimp, shrimps are expensive and hard to peel alive. Why is carbon bad in the filter?

i meant get him full and healthy and in perfect condition first..........
if you cant feed a fish what it should have,then why did you buy it?
carbon removes trace elements and i think brings up the ph?
wolves like the ph lower.

Your thinking right sir...

You only really need carbon to reduce bogwood tannings in a tank. It removes organic substances eg treatments. Its not needed. I dont like using it myself.

i use carbon for one purpose, crystal clear water.

If you have good water quality the addition of a micro pad will give you crystal clear water, relying on carbon to give yourself crystal clear water is a band aid.
