Godforbid two things...i swung 1st (starting it) and not swinging back.

lol my dad's advice to me if I got hit in school was, and I quote, to "swing until either you or them is knocked out, either way make sure they aren't walking away either." lol I'll give my kids the same advice.

With the softening of society comes the softening of bullies too though...they moved from pushing kids into a locker to bringing them down emotionally on social media...thus creating the issue you've stated above with kids acting out violently after being pushed for too long.

lol, My fathers not much of a talker, he's more of a grunter. My Mom however had the same frame of mind as your dad and was very vocal to me about it. Being 5'6" and wonder bread white despite having an off the boat Puerto Rican mom while living in the PJ's I had to have that frame of mind as well to adapt and survive.

Got into a scuffle once, kid lost. Couple days later sneaks he sneaks up behind me and whacks me with an arizona bottle. Only to have me turn him into mashed patatoes yet again (worse this time) end up spending the night in the hospital. 1st words out of my dads mouth when he came in the room was "how the hell did you let him get behind you" lmaoo

Me and arizona boy ended up becoming good friend's

I strangled a kid with a volley ball net once in gym class lol. He called my Mohawk dumb, so I asked him how he could talk through his triple chins, grabbed my shirt so I threw him into the net behind me and choked him with it lol. We didn't become friends haha.
