How did this die???

i put my last test strip in and all that was fine so who knows what happened but the one alive is thicker and looks like healthier but its curled around the filter all depressed and deathly looking i dont get it before they were swimming about having a blast lol grrr
the LFS told me to float them for 30 minutes since there young and slowly add some of my water to the bag..so i did just that but its been a week since then
I'm not sure what test strips you have or what you have tested since you haven't posted any results. If it were me I would do some 50% water changes every day or two for the next couple of weeks. Make sure you use some dechlorinator when you do the water changes.
just tested the water and everything is perfect i dont have like exact numbers i bought the color 6 in 1 tester and nitrate, nitrite clear so none of that, and everything else was in ideal so idkk

have not touched them with my hands i poured water from the bag they came in in a bucket and scooped them up with a soft net and then put them in my tank after i acclimated them via floating and tiny amounts of my water, but it died like exactly a week after i got it
