How did your pet get its name?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
My dogs Lab, Pit and Weenie dog are Anthony, Vinnie and Chasey Lain because I just like Italian sounding names and I used to be really into the bloodhound gang and its a funny song (respectively).
I named my snakes Diablo (he's red) and Rorschach (she has wicked patterns).
Navarro my horse was homage to my thing for the RHCP/JA's guitarist. I named my other horse Flame b/c she's red.
I didn't really name my geckos.
My rabbits are Louie, Muffin top (like when u wear your pants too tight) and Bun B (the rapper).
Oh yeah and the tarantula's name is Fluffy.

We adopted our first dog, so he came with his name, Beau.
Then we adopted our second dog a black lab, and we loved the name he came with so we kept that one as well, the rescue said they already had a dog named Buddy, so they named him Turkey.
We adopted our kitty with the name Reeses Peices.
Then we adopted our second kitty and wanted to stick with the food names, so we called her Twix.
I had my bearded dragon for 5 years when I met my husband and just called him Baby, and the hubby thought we should give him a proper name, so he called him Captn Crunch.
My no eyed ball python is called Freakshow, cause hes an oddball, and my blind sunglow boa is named Satine cause I love the movie Moulin Rouge.

Lily-my dog when i first saw her i thought she was silly and looked like she should be named lily,we sometimes call her silly lily
ticky-tac- my whites tree frog, his toes feel like that sticky stuff teachers use to hang up posters, sticky tac
Ike-my ball python he has the letter "i" on his tail
Kiwi-my budgie, she was green with black spots on her wings
azul-my budgie,he is blue
berry-my budgie, she just looks like she should be berry
cookie- my rosy boa, her stomach looks like cookies and cream ice cream

Kingsnakes: Coretta and King.
"bull" snakes (gopher snakes actually) are "the twins)
dogs: Simba (wolfdog that looks like a lion), Michiko (akitas need Japanese names), Merlin (black and white dog that appeared out of thin air), Otis (pit bull, just sounded tough to me when he was a puppy 16 years ago), and Dolly (american bulldog, came to me with that name, but it fits her).
only one of my current fish actually has a name, and that's my silver arowana, Spot. because he has a watermellon seed shaped black spot on one side. i guess the other arowana is called "not spot"..
