How Discus many in a 395gal

Tried selling my tank for awhile but just kept on getting flakers as usual so I decided that im going to just keep it. Im wanting to go with a few discus,a few nice plecos in there and maybe a big group of neons or something like that and a few clown loches, i do have a 18-20" Giraffe cat in there right now and will not be getting rid of him any time soon. Just kind of curious on how many some of you think i could keep in there?

Well, it's usually 10 gal. per adult fish, so you do the math. hope your check book is heavy.

I'd go with 10-12 discus and about 20-30 neons and 6 loaches with some killer drift wood..........

id go with 30!, thats if you are planning to sell some of them off later or breed in separate tanks.

i say 10-15 adult ones would be best and a few school of small fish

Plecos and loaches will suck off the discus' slime coat off. When the discus is sleeping when the light are off the loaches will pick on them at night since they are nocturnal. Neons are also mass produced and will possibly come with diseases. Cardinal tetras will do better at higher temperatures which discus prefer and they do look similar to neon tetras.

yea thats more of what im thinking of but maybe a few more clown loaches than just 6theres tons of room in there for them.
