Fishing in Wisconsin
I just picked up a bull(Columbian) shark that has been raised in FW and I want to switch him to Brackish b/c I read that was best for them. What do I do? drip method? for a day? or slowly raise tank salt levels? I have no idea. Please help.
Thanks

PS I'm thinking of adding a snowflake eel that is also kept in FW and convert it too, same remedy?

Is the tank BW already? If not & it's empty, then fishless cycle the tank at FW & raise the SG .002/weekly water change. If it is already BW, drip acclimate no faster than .002/hr.

You can raise it slower, if you want.

I add 1/8 teaspoon a gallon every water change every 3 to 5 days(10%) so you don't kill off bacteria but .002 sounds right. I always have done it this way . so first waterchange is 1/8 tea. then 1/4 then 1/2 then 3/4 after I get to .008 then do regular change every 7 to 10 (20%)
