Hi, I am cleaning my 55g glass tank, which has water buildup on the top and on the rim. Google is suggesting vinegar and water. What do you use? I tried earlier with just soap and water, but those things are determined to stay on.
Agreevinegar and water works, just spray on and let it sit for 15-30 minutes. It's a losing battle in the long run since your water is hard.
Trying to sell the tank. Pic needs to look clean, so no water stains. I’ll try the vinegar x water, and perhaps the Bar Keepers Friend.vinegar and water works, just spray on and let it sit for 15-30 minutes. It's a losing battle in the long run since your water is hard.
stick with vinegar and water since it’s free and it’s a resell. prices just for a bare pristine glass tank is less than $1/gallon in your area.Trying to sell the tank. Pic needs to look clean, so no water stains. I’ll try the vinegar x water, and perhaps the Bar Keepers Friend.
