Hi, I am cleaning my 55g glass tank, which has water buildup on the top and on the rim. Google is suggesting vinegar and water. What do you use? I tried earlier with just soap and water, but those things are determined to stay on.

If the tank is empty use the Bar Keeper’s Friend. It’s around $5 and works instantly. Not waiting or scraping.

To see it in action go to YouTube and type in “Bar Keepers Friend The King of DIY.” It shows him using it in real time on his aquarium. Goes on like comet with no scraping or dealing with razor blades.

vinegar and water works, just spray on and let it sit for 15-30 minutes. It's a losing battle in the long run since your water is hard.
Trying to sell the tank. Pic needs to look clean, so no water stains. I’ll try the vinegar x water, and perhaps the Bar Keepers Friend.
