I got these little guys about 1 month ago. The first week they ate flake food like it was going out of style. In week 2 they just stopped eating. I tried everything - all kinds of different pellets, that Hikari massivore stuff, freeze dried foods, etc. They wouldn't eat anything.

I now have them on beef heart, raw shrimp, and freeze dried krill. I'd love to get these guys on pellets for convenience and to supplement their diet but they show no interest. Am I S.O.L. Or is there a way to get these guys on pellets?

I currently feed these guys 2-3 times per day but when I feed them I feed very small amounts. Maybe I need to starve them for a few days.

By the way, these guys are only about an inch right now.

Yes they tasted good stuff now they wont go back! But when hungry enough they will eat anything but being so small u want to keep an eye on aggression, so you have to find a good inbetween! Id try fasting for 24-48 hours then throw the desired pellets in, if they don't take em wait another day, or you can continue your current feeding -BH (heard it had too much fat, which is bad for juvies) and wait to pellet train till their a little older so you don't have to worry about them eating eachother, just let them be, always being in their face with food isn't gonna help!
