How do I get my Red Devil to eat earth worms?

How do I get my red devil to eat earth worms?

I dont understand why she wont eat it. Its a 4" female red devil. She just swims up to it and looks at it them moves on. I mean she is highly aggressive, she attacks my hand everytime I put it in the water, she rams the glass everytime I go near the tank with something shes not used to seeing. She kills feeders and ghost shrimp like they are nothing. She kills gold fish like its nothing.

Just feed her pellets.. She should except earthworms though, try cutting a piece off then feed it to her. My fish don't seem to like the head of worms so try feeding her 1 1/3 section of the tail first.

Shes eating it now, and it looks like shes having fun with it trying to rip a 4" long earth worm to shreds.

I'm glad she's taking them. I thought for a moment you were going to have to teach her by example. I was thinking if she saw you eat one, she might copy you.

Which side is the head and which is the tail? They look the same.

Just be careful were you get your earthworms make sure its from an unfertilized area also have you tried feeding her some feeder crickets I am planning to try it with my tigar oscar as soon as I get a chance

I remember when I first gave worms to my jaguar it was gulp, spit, gulp, spit, gulp....GONE

My GT practically inhales worms. He doesn't do any of the spitting and chewing. He just opens his mouth and sucks it in, chews a few times, and swallows it. I've fed him whole worms as long as he is. (about 3-4 inches)
