I know back in the day they use to call the black wolf fish a goliath but know they have a sp. name for them so maybe thats what it is.

Good looking fish. Looks mala to be, but I don't pretend to be an expert on wolves.
 
just a large hopalias mala. i guess "goliath" just meant "big" for the shopkeeper. The price is a bit high. 50 bucks would be a more reasonable price.
