My water quality seems like its never clear. I have a glass 60G and in it runs a Penguin 350 HOB and a Jebo CFS4 canister filter. HOB has been running for 2 months and canister is running for 3 days. I have also been doing 2-3 water changes a week each one approximately 25%.

I currently have the following fishes: 2 CKs, 1 P. Bass, 1 RBP, 1 Indo, 1 Widebar, 1 Thinbar, 1 Pleco, and 1 Catfish. All of them are either 5 inches small or smaller. I know its over stocked but the tank will eventually end up as a Datnoid tank once all the other fishes are too big for the dats.

So back to the question. How do I keep my water clean? It seems like I am over-filtered but there still seems to be dust particles free floating in my tank and I'm tired of seeing it. By the way, the Jebo canister also makes my tank appear like a snow globe. Tried everything to fix it but it hasn't changed. Take note that there are dust particles and micro-bubbles in the tank.

Any suggestions on how to fix the dust? I will probably add another canister filter in the future if the water quality stays the same.

Any suggestions?

I attached photos of my tank as well as the fishes.

That sucks. I spent 20 minutes uploading all the damn photos...

Wow... does this mean I have to be logged in my e-mail account for the photos to work. I stored the photos in my file manager in my e-mail account...

Are the photos working now? Can anyone help me host the photos please? Thanks.

None is working. Pm me if you want help, Arkmann. I'll see what I can do for you.:)

How old is you tank? When I set up my 60 gallon a few years ago, it was dusty for a long time, a few months I think. The only way I fought off the milky looking water was some massive water changes daily until I felt it was clear (50% daily).

Here you go with the first batch of pics.;)

I hate the air bubble look myself, I don't use airstones anymore because of that. I think maybe your driftwood is leaking tannins into your water, not sure though. When I got my driftwood, it made my water look like tea for a year.

I forgot the last pic.:WHOA:
