How do I medicate this ich?

Alright, My salt has been in for two days (1 tsp per gallon) at 82 degrees. One of my loaches died during the fist 8 hours of treatment but the other is clear of all his spots. No one else has any spots either. I know that I will need to keep the SAlt in the tank for a bit but how long/how do I know it has worked?

That did not come out right...Let me ask an entirely different question: When adding the additional salt what salinity level am I trying to reach?

Since you have loaches, stop at two teaspoons per gallon dose. I'm sorry to hear your one loach died.

It's okay. I think that the Ich medication I used before trying that salt tratment was just too harsh on the little guy. He will be missed.
