How do u change the water?

If your doing it tap to tank you treat for the entire tank volume. If your doing it bucket to tank you treat each individual bucket for the bucket volume before adding to the tank.

i think dosing the entire tank volume helps prevent any chlorine/cholromine from harming your fish if you are filling the tank right from the tap and it also has the added benefit of making the ammonia in your tank harmless to your fish.
Alright. So i just took out 30 g's out of my 135. Put 3 capfuls of prime directly to the tank then refilled the tank all the way directly from the tap.
What i did yesterday to my 40 was that i took out 20 g's then refilled one 5g bucket with water then put a capful in that 5g bucket. Put that in the tank then refilled the rest with 3 more buckets untreated.

I don't have a hose that I can directly connect to my tap yet so I'm still using buckets. Luckily the bathroom is next to my tank. 6 buckets of water from my bathroom to my tank by myself still isn't easy. I'll probably do bigger water changes when I get that python or aqueon hose thingy.

my fishroom is close to the bathroom so i can reach the hose from the tanks to the tub to drain and then straight back to the tank from the tap. can change 300 gallons or so in about an hour.
I dont have a hose atm. Maybe get one when I'm off. Just really busy with work and don't really have enough free time. Working two jobs just so my fish can be happy takes a lot out of me. Lol.
