How do u completely get rid of brown algae? I keep on scrubbing it/removing it but it still comes back? What are the solutions for this brown algae problem? Thanks in advance!

Do you have your tank near direct sunlight? Also how long do you keep lights on each day?

Well last week, sunlight was directly hitting my tank. Four days ago i bought blinds to prevent sunlight. I keep on scrubbing the brown algae but it still gets back even if i have the blinds already. Lights i turn off usually at day time
You get rid of diatoms by what? Flagtails? Im sure he eats it haha
Yup. I have one in a 70 gal that I have had set up for almost 2 yrs now. I have never had to scrub it since it has been in there. This pic is in a 180 and I only have to scrub algae on the scratches every once in a while.
Try and keep tank lights on for ony 4-6 hours a day, and reduce the lighting you use if you have multiple tubes
