How do u completely get rid of this?

Diatoms use light, silicates and nitrate to form.
Sometimes it takes very little light if there is an abundance of the other two ingredients.
So to attack this from all sides you can reduce the light as suggested, which is probably the easiest to control.
Reduce the silicates, which is probably present in the water you are using especially if your tap or replacement source is hard water by using RO filter for you water changes.
Or reduce the nitrogen waste that forms naturally, improve your filtration and water circulation in the aquarium making sure that there are no dead or stagnant areas and or increasing filter maintenance and water changes.
Another step could be to feed less and make sure what you are feeding is getting consumed.
