How do u prevent drop eye

What's the average cost of a small black arawana I like that breed andnit as big as silvers and less chance of drop eye

All depends on where your from. What state do u live in? They are definetly more expensive than a silver. I bought mine at 10" for 150 bucks. Its now 18" and still has great color in its tail.
