how do u tell when jewels have paired off.

my mum has got 4 little baby jewels in a tank together. how do u tell if they are paired off or not.

If you put your hand in the tank, upon taking it out, it should have human blood on it. They can intimidate the biggest of cichlids. They will defend a certain tank area and may show some fish foreplay towards one another.

If they are breeding size, they will become a very intense red color and defend their territory.
