so im gonna be moving a 210 into my bedroom and wanna see how yall manage to move big tanks around? to pick up and move is easy if you have a hand ful of people, but how do you get those people through a doorway?? i noticed some fish stores have this cart they use. anyone kno where i can get one or rent one?

I get some really big guys to help... that way you have a few in the room on the otherside of the door to grab hold when the ones outside the room have to get out of the way to go through... beer and food is always a good way to get those types of carts...

we used a sturdy 2x4 cut to length to fit through the door. Little bits at a time. it's a 1/2" Glass 300g 8"x24"x30" tall. I wish someone knew what they weigh. WHEW!

I moved my 75g from my room to the living room all by myself. It was one of the biggest pain in the arse! I just used a dowl and slowly and carefully rolled it out bit by bit. Took me about 2 hours including emptying most of the water and fish.

I used 2 dolleys for my 125g. Had my lil bro give me hand to pick it up and place it onto the dolley...wheeled it into my basement...positioned it...and lifted it onto place. Mind you it was a short distance...about 15 feet. Beats carrying the sucker that distance. :D

MUSCLE!! Since im friggin stacked i just pick my 150 and bench it water and all!!! seriously, i get a bunch of guys and we tough it out.

Two words: Piano Dolly
Makes light work of the tank and they are pretty manoverable. Though I can move a 210 with another guy sometimes they need an extra hand but its easier just to muscle your way with out the dollys
