how do yall move big tanks?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Some rental yards have large wheeled dollies designed for moving LARGE roller tool chests. They are very low to the ground and easy to handle.(some are big enough to allow the tool box to be towed behind a vehicle.)

Another option is to "borrow" a couple of the flatbed type material carts from a home improvement center and then strap them to either side of the tank.

I moved my 125 from the driveway to the basement alone.
I slid it down the steps with a rope around my waist, and "walked" it to the stand. Picked it up an end at a time to get it on the stand, and "slid" it into place.
For a 210, I'd ask for help from at least one other person.

i would fear that i would stress it too much... but of course when I moved my 120...I had my step dad, mom, and finance push as I dragged it upstairs before I moved it with one other guy a year later...

i have just used muscle for every thing i have to move and we have a lot of heavy stuff later today my 90 is going in my room on the thrid floor of my house im probably going to get my dad to help
