I recently moved my motoro by just sticking a bucket in the tank, dropping some worms in the bucket (about 12" diameter, and waited for the ray to swim in. Then I just lifted out the bucked and left the ray with about 6 inches of water. I stuck an airline tube in the new tank and syphoned the water out and into the bucket for a slow acclimation. I just took out the water whenever it got too high, and after about a half hour, just picked up the bucket and placed it in the new tank, tipped it to the side and let the ray swim out. Piece of cake, the ray was calm the entire time (usually a very active ray also).
