how do you become a mod in MFK?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I was 'urged' into the spot. I hesitated until Neo handed me a copy of the file he had on me. It was cheaper, in the long run, to agree to become a MOD. However, I'm still waiting to hear how long my sentence is supposed to be.

I think a major requirement is the ability to search FAQ's and other areeas of the forum to see if certain questions have been asked. :) Then Poseiden steps in and taps you on the shoulder.

Although I do not get along with you-

Everyone can truelly see why you are in the position you are...

Your wealth of knowledge is unmatched......

ok, how many MODS are on MFK and who are they? I see two. oddball and red devil. are there more? i think you guys are a covert, secret society . . .

Like reef said, i think it depends totally on who you know(or not).

Know:
If for instance being a mods best mate off the forum whilst still being a active member gives you an amazing advantage if you were looking for that position, then again you would still need to be the right sort of person and have the experience behind you to do it and again one friend of a mod would still have the others to convince to get the job so to speak so even then it's not easy.

(or not):
If MFK is looking for extra mods in a certain area and the current mods feel they do not have the necessary number of people to mod a certain forum and no one they know of doesn't quite fit then where better to look than that forum(aka a random guy/gal with huge experience in that area), get talking and put it to a vote.

yea, but red devil and odd ball are not offensive or rude. MFK has many knowledgeable members who have sharp tongues and are often offensive. it takes a certain patience and personality to be a mod. most of us are not mod material, although many of us think we are.

God bless the Mod's! They spend all their time one here helping others and cleaning the forums up.....And Liz, I don't even want to know how many times she has to look for new "welcome" pictures and GIF's etc. I think I speak on all of our behalf, that you mod's are great!
