  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i keep 10 in a 29gallon tall

ac110/ 2 big sponge filters
bare bottom
50% water changes 2 times a day
I feed them blood worms in the morning, brine shrimp in the afternoon and got jsut got them on pellets at night.
temp at 84 degrees

there growing liek crazy = )

I got about half my 2'' IT's eating crushed cichlid gold....mixn w/ frozens....and sometimes by themselves. Feeding 3-5x daily.

Here's my new plan, please give me tips if iffy = )

55g
2 Aquaclear 110s
3 heaters all set at 86-87F
Driftwood
Basalt here and there
java moss
black gravel (should i switch it before i get them)
pH @ 7.3
Every day 2.5g changes, so 7X2.5=17.5g a week water change
Will be fed frozen or freeze dried BW the first week and than mix that with sinking carnivore(crushed) and than graduate to only sinking carnivore....

I will need to buy more food, but what i have to feed them for the first week or so is cichlid staple/cichlid gold/sinking carnivore/ freeze dried BW/ tropical flakes So i know that is not totally appropriate for diet but i will change after a week when i can get some frozen food, or maybe when i buy them i can ask the supplier what he is feeding them.

Leave your gravel in there to keep the bb in it.

I have 15 small IT in a 90 grow out with two AC 110, 2 eheim 2217, and 2 AC 70 powerhead with attach filter and a few fancy plecos. Two pieces of driftwood blue white gravel. Water temp is 78 that's when they're stable. And feed all kinds of food, market shrimp frozen bloodworms and pellets.
