How do you catch a big ray

I had no ides what to do with my MMs last time I had to move them. I cannot get a bucket or rubbermaid under the glass in my bar, si I had to improvise. http://www.amazon.com/Bajer-Design-Sunbeam-Drying-Rack/dp/B000MIREUY/ref=pd_sim_k_1

I used my wife's sweater drying rack. flat soft mesh with a nice wire ring around the perimeter. no protection from the stinger but they were pretty calm about being moved because I wasn't chasing them around the tank for 10 minutes with a net.

i'm always afraid to break their tail of some part of it because my cousin scooped his up (small one, 5 inch or so) with a net to transfer him and get htis stinger stuck in the net , he managed to untangled it finally but the ray died a couple days after that.

wow.. clever, didn't even know such a thing exists, my fear would be for him to slide off it and sting me lolz

If you cant use the method Miles suggested you could always try to buy a HUGE net at the pool store, use a HUGE pillow case, or bed sheet....
