How do you clean your AC110?

My ac 110 was flowing a little slow, even after a cleaning, so I ditched the foam sponge. I bought the poly pad at Wal mart in the fabric section and cut blocks out to fit the ac; 2 blocks will make up the size of the foam sponge. The water flow was excellent, even better than when it was new. Plus I would have to say the poly fibers do a better job of mechanical filtration...

SWEET!!! I gota do that too. Hey by the way...I tried getting rid of my carbon but It stank up the room! I have a tank in my bedroom and tried it and a few days later the old lady made me put some back in. Made the room smell like a fish shop.

You really shouldn't use anything that has been treated for mold or flame retardant. The chemicals can leech into the tank and cause problems.
