4" x 14" 100 micron are $3.75/ea on DudaDiesel.com for 10
4" x 14" 100 micron are $4.37/ea on McMasterCarr.com for 10

Just ordered 10 from DudaDiesel.com. With shipping it was $41.25 which makes the socks $4.12 each. Not bad considering anything local to me they are $8+ each.

Mine sit in a bucket for weeks and stuff dries out. I don't care. Been using the same ones since I set up the 540--over a year.

Here's the little known secret to filter socks. When you hose em off in the driveway, with a jet nozzle on the garden hose, you gotta be drinkin beer and listenin to Lynyrd Skynyrd--louder the better.

And ya gotta be drinkin GOOD beer. German beer. Bourbon works, too.

hahahah Ragin. we need to talk some time. I rinse all me pre-filters (meaning the socks on your intakes) every week, I do in tank water as the 180 drains none stop into a 5g bucket. but as they are not bio filters, anything that gets them clean is good.
