How do you dispose your dead fish?

I recycle them, throw them in a nearby lake

not a good idea, b/c even if they are dead, it makes people think that you have released them live or that the species may be breeding there.

I'd also worry about the possibility of introducing a disease to the lake.

I bury or throw in the trash

depends on the individual fish.

large fish, or fish that ive had for awhile ill bury somewhere in one of the gardens.

medium sized fish i usually put in a box or bag and into the trash where one of the neighborhood strays usually makes a snack from. better than the fish going to the landfill i suppose.

real small fish i send down the porcelain highway.

I do pretty much the same exact thing.

Garbage disposal or bury. For snails, I put nail polish on the shells to continue preserving them.

the ones i cared a lot about i usually freeze and then have my marine bio teacher look at them with me to determine cod but if its a fish i wasnt really fond of it usually becomes piranha food
