How do you dispose your dead fish?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Trash or bury, depends on size and how long I had them. Past about 7 years get buried no matter the size. I don't flush because I don't want to accidentally introduce some funky disease to the local waters.

chop them up and throw them in the bin.

Had a few go down the toilet in the past.... but mostly smaller fish that my bigger fish didn't like the taste of.

Smaller fish are fed whole to one of the predator fish... larger fish are sliced and diced to make food for the predators... if I suspect a disease I'll throw it in the freezer then give it the same threatment... Feeding monsters is what would happen in nature anyway

Small fish go down the drain with water changes. Large fish get a funeral ceremony in my back yard. I have a formation of rocks in my garden for midas. :(

the good ones go in the freezer... the not so good ones go in the garbage disposal or into the wormfarm... i dont think ive ever put one in the trash..
