just wanna see how most people change their water on their tanks. before i used to siphon water, then add water to a bucket dechlor it and pump into the tank. this method takes too long so now i siphon water, add hose straight to tank, do half dose of new water im adding while its filling up. once the tank is filled up all the way i add the rest of the dose for the new water i added in. i dont do full tank dose it seems like a waste.

well i start by gravel vac, then after thats done, i hook my almighty python to a pump with a hose adapter and then drain the water outside, then i hook my python to my sink and then fill and prime them.

i siphon out about two buckets of water, go dump it. fill it back up with two more buckets plus a little extra.

its tedious, but i dont have any drains or anything to use since its just a 20g

i use a rio 32HF pump out the water through the garden holes, then i just fill it back up from the garden hose while adding really hot water as well so the temp dont drop too much. i usually put 500 gallons worth of prime each water change, beacause i have a 240 and a 150 running on 1 system through a 120g sump

Geez, i feel like a rich guy. actually i got it for christmas.
I don't know how much python's cost, but my DIY ended up costing about $30 for the hose and fittings.
