usually once the pair mature surely the fm will be bigger than the male, as my pair last time fm was smaller then male but once it is mature the fm will grow rapidly in size. now the fm size is above 24 inch but the male i still max at 16/17 inch

So this size difference happens naturally? I was thinking that I would separate the male from females and feed females more. Would it be better to just let it happen naturally then?

I would let it happen naturally. Ive read somewhere on this forum that when an female matures she usually grows bigger then the male. Cant say if its true or not since ive bought my mature rays in large sizes. Then i think it all comes down to genetics to. You got some interesting time ahead with your trio now mathew.
