I recently saw a new to me family of cats, called ageneosus marmotus or something along those lines, sorry if its spelled wrong haha. They look like mini whale sharks to me I like em a lot I may get one, I like predatory streamlined catfish, things like blue cats are very derp looking haha. Be careful with the cats they can usually eat things larger then you think haha.

(Not to defame or promote random buisness but they're for sale on aquascapeonline, who I got my ornate bichir from and it was handled great)

I would love a red tail if I had a pond, I'd love it, or a tiger shovelnose. Im kind of an amazon freak tho haha I rarely consider fish outside of that area.

Electric cats are fascinating but you'd need a specie tank for those

Go for a tigrinus. You'll love the quirky goofy look. And it's flaglike tail, but it's (for me) a hard to keep cat if not accommodated very thoroughly.

Set up a heap of tanks and keep all sorts of fish, then put yourself in a situation where you have to sell 95% of them and can only keep a few favourites. As I did, you'll soon discover which ones you really like...

and for the record, with me it was the plecs that I hung onto. The cichlids were [mostly] easily replaced and the arowana wasn't feasible to keep in a smaller easily moved tank. Thank goodness I managed to find another one!

Ageniosus is a cutie. Kinda reminds me of a paroon shark shape.
Tiger catfish is always a favorite. =)

I use to have a raphael catfish but lost him to a airlock in my filter. Along with my discus.
