So how do you guys feeding about cutting up live worms to feed? Today I had to cut up large night crawlers like spaghetti with a scissor. I feel so digusted and will probably never do that again.:yuck: I have no problem feeding worm as whole but I just don't like the gooey slimes when cutting them up.

I know how you feel...I just cut them directly over the tank, but it's nasty seeing them squirm and the scissors get some slimy coat on them.:barf:

Haven't fed them those in awhile because of that. I figured I'll wait until they're big enough to eat them whole:D

Yuck!:yuck: :yuck: This is why I don't feed them the large earthworms anymore. I just trawl the garden for smaller ones, that's all.:shakehead

I usually do it with my bare hands. I don't break them into a ton of pieces though. Not really different from what I do when I go fishing.

I cut up nightcrawlers everyday for a couple of my fish. At first it's a bit off-putting, but after a while it's just 'normal'. Still a bit slimy, but normal. ;)

Scissors, huh........I use the bare-hand method. Rip them into peices for the smaller cichlids. It's a bit gooey, but were MEN, lol. Things like that doesn't disgust me anymore, it's the same with going fishing.
