How Do You Feel About Feeding Live Worms?

Seems everyone these days has lost touch with what it used to be like in the old days. I just rip them apart bare handed, it's just a worm. Most people these days would be petrified if they knew the process behind gettting there meat products from scratch. I saw a cow get slaughtered when I was 8 years old on my cousin's farm. I didn't really care it's meat, plus I grew up around farms. Don't be a wuss it's life, eat or be eaten.

I do fish but I do deep sea fishing using live anchovies and squid as bait. I have never use worm as bait.

I guess it's going to take some time to get used to seeing the worm squirming when I cut it up. It's one thing to kill when you have out eat vs kill for joy. I don't have the personality to kill living organisms for joy.
 
Your not supposed to kill the worms for joy... That's sadistic. You kill the worms to feed your fish who won't eat anything else. You just don't think about it after a while.

Yeah I don't even think of it. I pull out the worm container, open it up. Walk to the Oscar tank and break a worm in half and feed each half to the two oscars. I don't think or nothing. It's a worm, sorry worm but your pretty low on the food chain, plus who cares it's a worm, I have compassion for the cats and dogs and even hamsters and what not that people abuse and don't take care of, but a worm, lol nah.Just another food source for my fish.
 
I thought that worms don't even really feel pain. Supposedly they don't have a real nervous system. I mean if something happens to them in the wild and they lose a part of their body they just regrow it, kind of like starfish. And in a few minutes they will be eaten anyway. So whats the problem? They don't feel pain and will be eaten in a few minutes. BOO HOO

lol do this 2wice a week for my african knife fish
its worth it when he takes them out of my hand :headbang2
