You should be happy she shares your interest. If my girlfriend even showed interest in my fish I would be excited. Just remember her interest can change especially with you having monster tanks, but most girls don't like mean fish.
I love my puny colorful fish. Got tiger barbs (black and yellow with redfins - gotta love that), red/black swordtails (ok slightly fancier than mollies but the females looks the same) and hatchet fish (funky shape) - <sigh> ... still looking for tetras to complete my 55g tank. It is a surprise for my GF actually, she tolerated my carnivorous fish (even bought live food for it - much to her dismay).
i am contemplating going into Kois (got book on fish and ponds) - errrr no funds ... yet. I always thought that asian aros are expensive - how wrong was i. Koi is much MUCH more expensive (fish and set-up)
PS: added some kinds of plants (four puny pots) - i hope it stays and take hold before my GF comes for a visit

yea koi would burn a hole in the pocket... she was sad setting up a 10g cost so much so i got her a heater and some other stuff cuz she wanted to add neons in with he goldfish.

No, my GF would never do that. Although i get a sour comment from time to time that i spend too much time with fish ^^ nothing a nice dinner and a nightout can't fix.
PS: avoid answering a question along the lines "who do you love more me or your fish" ... think carefully and answer wisely this very tricky question
my wife suggested i sould get rid of fishes in a 125g....i did, and she bought me other fishes. she said that the fishes were not from the same area.its_an_obsession;2232651; said:
