Hikari is actually my food of choice as well, however it is incredibly expensive in Canada. Do you buy bulk? If so whereT1KARMANN;875864; said:night crawlers are a waste of time if you ask me they are messy and other people dont like feeding them when you are on holiday
its easy to get someone to take care of your fish if all they need to do is throw in a few handfuls of pellets
i use the hikari sinking carnivor pellets (RTC on the packet)
night crawlers are great for freshly imported rays that you cant get feeding once the rays if feeding on the crawlers cut a few up and soak the pellets in the crawler blood over night so they soak up the worm blood
1 or 2 crawlers every now and then but not as a main food

j/k but I my self have been using nightcrawlers and pellets on my motoros and it took me about 3 months to get my motoros eating the pellets and now that they are eating them its better because its cheaper and I know that they are getting vitamins but I will always feed worms because of the high protein and they never refuse them. My tiger and flower rays will not eat pellets no matter what I've been trying everything I'll get the worms rinse them let them sit in water then i crush the pellet and put the powder all over the worms and let the powder sink into the worm for awile and then feed it to the tiger ray so that it can get use to the taste but no luck yet with just the pellet, I guess because they think they're better that the motoros or something
