how do you guys make a central american tank pop!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
add a silver or black arowana as a centre piece fish!

clockwork is that your tank? it is ******* unbelievable... Also RD in your avatar that fish is beautiful! Oh how I am falling for larger fish every time I am on here...

Yes that's my tank. If you click the "125 Gallon ..." in my signature you can see all the info on it. Thanks for the compliment.

i would also try to add some tree branches from top down.with 3 agressive cichlids dithers is a good idea,as they grow the agression will increase

I have one of those big fake plants from petsmart. You can do just about whatever you want with them and put them anywhere you want. Take some parts off or leave it big and bushy...

You can clearly see which plant I'm talking about lol:

Looks good. I would try clustering things together more to give larger open bottom. Try moving the center driftwood to one side or the other and also work more on movement of background/foreground deco. You do need something to break up that big black bg. A big slice of slate or maybe a fake plant or two.

two words ........ larger driftwood.

The right size & shape of driftwood can make or break a tank. Get the right driftwood & place them properly in that tank & you will be good to go.
