How do you guys reuse your aquarium water?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
water the garden or lawn with it, unless i'm lazy, then it just goes down the drain.

Lawn and indoor/outdoor plants/flowers.

Waters the garden in the summer. Skating rink across the backyard in the winter. I usually have to subsidize the skating rink with more water but hey.

What you do is, get the siphon started and then cover the end of the hose with your thumb. Then, lay on the floor, open your mouth and be hydrated for a good, long time.

Seriously, I use it in my aquatic plant arrangements (vases with gravel and elodea, etc.) and for the potted garden we have outside. And for the houseplants.

^ no, just defeats the purpose of washing the car.

Just goes to the backyard plants and house plants for me.

What? noone else using it for coffee?

Actually mine goes to plants/lawn or down the drain. Emptying the cannister filters into potted plants seems very effective.
My Xterra gets dirty enough without me using tank water on it.

I live in an apartment with no plants, no lawn....nothing to water. It all just goes down the drain:\

Maybe I'll eventually figure something out.

Garden and/or lawn. Watering plants with aquarium water seems to always get me great results. Got the tallest and thickest tree on the block in base housing to prove it. And all our trees were planted the same time and were pretty much the same size. Ours was actually one of the smaller/barer ones.

Base Housing... Spice doesn't count as a tree. You, and your free utilities..
