How do you handle feeders?

Another note, we "rescued" three turtles from petco's crappy living conditions in the back of their store. When we got those three they were pretty crappy swimmers. By putting a few live fish in their tank every few days they move faster and faster each time. So... feels like they're getting stronger.

I can not speak to turtle nutrition, as I really don't know much about it.

As far as fish that won't accept pellets (I've owned spiny eels, I know how they are), that's why I started keeping less fussy fish.

My recommendation would be if you can get them to eat things like shrimp, stuff the shrimp with a small high quality pellet to boost nutrition.
