How do you keep your nets from smelling?

My wife is pretty cool with my fish obsession but she hates the way my fish nets smell.

Anyone have tips on keeping fish nets from smelling?

Does she wear a fish net suit?:j/k: I never put the net to my nose to sniff it but I cannot smell just walking by it. I rinsed it instantly after each use then sun dry it.

Rinsing with tap water after using them works for me.

I just rinse and dry them. No smell but they're in well ventilated areas. If your fishroom is getting smell, you could always stow a cup of charcoal in a corner to get the charcoal to absorb the odor.

Agreed,never noticed any smells from my nets.

i just drip dry mine. they dont smell

i rinse in tap water then "swat" with it repeatedly outside to dry it. never had a smelly net yet. my net sits in my stand or in my bucket. both are in my sitting room though so smells would be an issue.

I never knew they smell. I wonder if its your water thn has the odor?

I dont even try to dry them... just put the net in a recyclable metal cooking pan and go about my business.

Sometimes I hang them over my Sump and forget about them but never noticed the smell.

Maybe its the Net? I thought I seen a black cloth type net at Petsmart a while back (if it pertains to ya)
