I have a 225g w/ a 55g sump w/ about 60#s of media and a filter sock. It also has 2 quiet one 6000s for about a 10x turnover rate. I do 50-70% wc's 3x a week.

560gal with 3-mag18's that have custom prefilter pumping to a 100gal horse trough OHF with 6-100 micron filter socks then go through loads of pot scrubbies for bio.
4 power heads that direct poop back to filter so no vaccuming on slate bottom. 50% waterchanges one a week changing filtersocks as needed(usually 2 a week).

I have a 24w UV filter that I'm adding, but I need to get a few more fitting and some tubing. My buddy has a uv filter so big it looks like a bazooka, lol
