Bumping a old interesting thread.

My ZZ was sold to me by wholesale from Taiwan as 'red Flowerhorn, Amph. Trimac x Vieja. Syns'

They also had 'Gold Flowerhorn, Amph.Trimac x Amph.Midas' on the list.

I find a lot of information on this thread wrong, might need to do a whole LOT of homework. I'm not liking this thread, even if it is very old.

I dont see at all how a FH would be inferior to a Trimac? The price difference would say otherwise.

Of course these were just the first flowerhorns. Double lines, etc have other Vieja and more pearls have carpintinis, etc. Pretty much every beautiful fish has been crossed into the bloodline
