How do you pass the time during your Water Changes?

Nervously watch it for leaks. I'm terribly paranoid about it busting or the stand collapsing. Really. I frequently have nightmares.

I always keep it in view, no chance of forgetting, because I know if I wander away I will forget. I usually just sit and watch the fish (and make fun of the big bad ____ for being scared of the hose). Last week though, one of the dogs tripped over the tubing while it was filling and knocked into onto the floor. I was right there but there was still quite a bit of water on the floor by the time I got it back in the tank.

I only had one tank bust on me, it was years ago when my little sister was about 5. She fell headfirst into a 10 gallon i had stacked under a 40. her head went through it and miraculously she didnteven get cut. It is horrifying watching your little buddies fly out of a broken tank though.
