How do you prefer to buy your fish?

small.. but now w/ the big pool I wouldn't mind adding a few well cared for adult fish who need a new home... we all know how hard it cn be to find a good home for that "monster" who's outgrown a tank or we have to give up due to life ect... But I won't go to my lfs and pick up a trade-in they want 100$'s for because its a big fish... I need that money to properly feed them!

Both. I'll buy fry to grow out and adults as breeding pairs, trios, colonies, etc.

I only buy small fish to grow out. To me all the fun is in watching them grow and change colors. However I have many times adopted larger fish.

I take a lot of pride in growing my fish out to adult sizes. Plus some are more challenging than others and I enjoy a challenge in a hobby.
