How do you search Craigslist.org for fish?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I try pretty much everyday, especially when I'm at work. I search pets, for sale, and free. But I always look for tanks, and rarely fish, I don't have any trouble finding more fish than I have room for. There's another secret that I have found, the thing I hate most is that you can only search one area. To fix that I go to google, type in the type of fish I'm looking for i.e. Flowerhorn. then add + craigslist.

so the search field looks like: Flowerhorn + Craigslist

Then it searches the whole united states. it has been fairly successful for me. I feel a little bad giving up my technique, but I guess for MFK, its worth it.

Youre not supposed to buy and sell pets on craigslist so most people around me dont sell them there but rather sell them on the very similar kijiji which in some cities actually gets more traffic. I search both every day though cuz both can have good deals on tanks.

I check daily, or more. First hit the pets section, then do a search of "fish" and "aquarium" in the general section.

Todays pickup, 11x 1.5 to 2" gold severums for 15 bucks

I search pretty much whenever I get the urge (or a little extra in the budget). I haven't really searched for fish as most of the decent ones can be found for decent prices from local venders/breeders.

I have yet to trust ANY description on craigslist on products, what makes you think I'll trust how a fish has been kept? Too many unknows for me.

crazedlist.org allows you to search the whole county or multiple locations on one page

i dont check it that often, but will be pretty soon.

I just use the general search and either type "fish tank" or "aquarium". If im looking for a tank, I usually search daily. If not, I usually check weekly.
