How do you ship live animals?

I may need to know this in the near future. So might as well ask now.

How Do You Ship Geckos?
Aquatic Turtles?
Snakes?
Tortoises?
Other Herps?

how do you mean. As in packing or legally how do you do it?

if the previous it will depend on species really... you mean just within the US... or you gunna ship me something?

yeah yeah i know you sneeze we catch your cold

not sure on some of them... but I imagine aquatic turtles will do fine in some kind of wet substrate... least that's how they ship the aquatic snakes. Heat packs of course where necessary... large snakes you can use a snake bag... smaller ones you can box up with some form of cushioning in the small tubs or even paper cups etc.

Okay, after the total derail of this thread....

In this time of year, heat packs are of course required. Shipping in tupperware with duct tape around it and lots of air holes has worked for me. Put some paper towels inside the tupperware for insulation, padding, and to absorb urine or "clean" some crap. Put the heat packs around the tupperware and surround both of them in an old towel or rag, then put in a cardboard box and ship overnight.
