How do your fish eat?

My fish have different methods of eating.
Do any of yours stick out or have an unusual way of eating?
I have seen the cunning, smart, dumb, funny, expected, and unusual ways these guys eat.
Like my old JD liked to wait for current from the filter to shoot his pellet down and he'd zap em.
Some just charge up at the food, splash and get you wet.
My Midas some reason reminds me of a goldfish...

Feeding is a big part why many of us enjoy the hobby.
What quirks do some of your fish have when hungry?

My severum does the same thing with it's pellets, waits by the output, and snatches them on their way down... lol... With flakes it'll come right to the top of the tank like most fish.


My eel, before it's about to eat a piece of worm, will strike a king cobra pose, and then strike like a snake... I love it. He doesn't do it all the time though.

My little devil is pretty smart he'll hover around the oscars gills waiting to clean up whatever they dispel. My little dempseys will shoot out their cave claim a pellet then reverse back in. The oscars just sit at the top with their mouths open pretty much.

i have to throw in his hikari gold pellets one at a time so when im having my breakfast i sit and give him his at the same time. even the other pellets i have given he gets one at a time.
he has me trained already lol.
